Office Based Therapist (LSW or LPC)

Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 + Productivity Bonus Eligible

Office Based Therapists with National Youth Advocate Program work as part of an integral service team. In this role, you will deliver Mental and Behavioral Health Services to adolescents, youth and children, as well as their families, who have been identified by public and private referrals and outside agencies. Referral sources may include County and non-County Agencies, self-referrals, schools, and healthcare providers. This is a blended role where 5 hours per week will be spent serving clients in the community.

Under the general supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designee, you will work closely with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners, providing counseling or therapy, advocacy and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provides individual, group, and family mental health therapy, case management, transportation, and other professional services to clients served.
  • Coordinate and monitor services for the youth and family in the community mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services.
  • Regularly reviews and modifies youth-based plans to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals.
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with adolescents, youth, and children as well as assigned foster parents and families of origin.
  • Assists in family reunification and/or stabilization efforts with the youth’s primary family or other permanent living arrangement consistent with the youth’s case plan.
  • Provides safety assessment, crisis response, and behavioral stabilization services as required to assure safety and stability for youth served.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
  • LSW or LPC required.
  • Experience in providing both individual and family therapy preferred.
  • Experience working in direct service with youth and families preferred.
  • Experience with TF-CBT preferred.
  • Good computer and technology skills.
  • Must be willing to accept other job duties as assigned.

Driving and Vehicle Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable personal transportation.
  • Good driving record.
  • Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability.
