Job summary

Tecta America Zero Company LLC is seeking an in-office Project Engineer for our OH offices in Dayton, Columbus, or Cincinnati. The role supports commercial roofing projects from startup to closeout, handling submittals, work orders, warranty documentation, and owner manuals.

The Project Engineer will provide administrative and technical support to Project Managers, ensuring accuracy, compliance with contract requirements, and timely project delivery across multiple sites.

Qualifications

Experience in commercial construction or roofing projects.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Experience preparing submittals and project documentation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Navision or similar ERP software.
Experience with CAD software and electronic plan takeoffs preferred.
Strong organization, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate project submittals, work orders, warranty documentation, owner manuals, and closeout packages.
Provide administrative and technical support to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
Create and manage submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
Coordinate with General Contractor, Owner, or Consultant per project specs.
Enter work orders into Navision and assemble project packets.
Assist with scheduling, coordination, and communication between field personnel and vendors.
