The University of Utah, Office of Orientation & Transition, is seeking an Office Assistant to support day‑to‑day operations and provide a positive experience for undergraduate students and families. This entry level role offers exposure to orientation programs and campus operations.

You will handle phones, emails, greet guests, maintain databases, assist with Utah Bound Orientation, and collaborate with students, staff, and partners to ensure smooth events. Campus location in Salt Lake City, UT.

  • Maintain all databases for Orientation & Transition; Gather and assemble information for various events and reports.
  • Foster positive working relationships with students, staff, faculty, and community and campus partners.
  • Represent our office when needed during any programming our office sponsors.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Office of Orientation & Transition has the primary focus of assisting new students and their families as they transition to the University through comprehensive programs that take place throughout the calendar year. To support these efforts, the Office of Orientation & Transition hires Office Assistants who play a vital role in the function of the day-to-day operation of the office as well as provide a positive and enthusiastic experience for all undergraduate students and their families.

This is an entry level position.
