Riverside Medical Group - Williamsburg - Primary Care Physicians in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Medical Office Associate to support patient check-in/out, verify insurance, and update demographics. You will answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and assist with referrals, with potential to float to other practices in the region.
The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and about 1 year of medical office experience.
Williamsburg, Virginia Hiring Range $16.80 - $21.83/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
Responsibilities include checking in and checking out patients, verifying insurance eligibility, maintaining patient registration by properly entering and updating patient demographics within the patient registration software, greeting patients while answering multi-phone lines, scheduling/rescheduling appointments, creating/scheduling referrals, completing chart prep and providing information to and for the patients. May be asked to float to other practices within the region providing support as needed.
Education High School Diploma or GED, Minimum (Required) Experience 1 year Medical Office experience (Preferred)
