Baltimore County Public Schools is seeking a detail-oriented secretarial professional to support a school or office with word processing, filing, and receptionist duties. The role involves managing electronic and paper records, handling calls, and assisting visitors.
The position requires a high school diploma and at least two years of clerical experience, plus completion of the BCPS Office Professional Skills Assessment. Eligible for benefits and retirement plans.
Performs secretarial, clerical, and receptionist duties in support of an office or school. Performs word processing functions, maintains electronic and paper files, answers telephone calls, and receives office visitors. Performs other duties as assigned.

The work of this class is generally sedentary and performed in an office environment. Work includes the operation of office equipment, including personal computers, and occasional limited physical activities.

Grade 01/ESPBC, $22.15-$40.21 (Hourly Base Pay Scale for Non-Exempt Office Professionals, Clerical and Classified Employees Represented by ESPBC, Effective July 1, 2026.
