The Salvation Army is seeking an organized administrative assistant in the United States to submit bills to Divisional Headquarters, prepare bank deposits, and assist with food pantry needs and clients.
Responsibilities include opening mail, routing receipts to DHQ, processing deposits and donor checks, typing thank-you letters, and maintaining accurate records. Driving is an essential function; confidentiality and Safe from Harm training are required.
Summary/Primary Purpose: Responsible for submitting bills to Divisional Headquarters (DHQ) and preparing bank deposits. Also assist with Food Pantry needs and clients when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent and at least three months experience in the related field.

Other Qualifications: Must pass all applicable background checks.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must successfully complete Safe from Harm training within 30 days of hire, as established by The Salvation Army.

Physical requirements include good speaking, hearing and vision ability and excellent manual dexterity. Ability to stand, bend and reach for extended periods of time, dexterity of hands and fingers to operate cleaning equipment. This position will require the ability to lift and/or move more than 50 pounds occasionally.
