Job summary

Marina Construction Company is seeking an organized Office Administrator / Project Support Coordinator to join our Grand Rapids, MI team. This hands-on role supports both the office and active construction projects, handling numbers, spreadsheets, vendors, materials, schedules, customers, and field personnel.

We are looking for a self-starter who takes ownership, learns quickly, and looks for solutions without needing constant direction.

  • Monitor inventory and ensure materials are available when needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, customers, and field personnel.
  • Assist with project scheduling and coordination.
  • Organize and maintain project files, purchase records, and records.
  • Track project information and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Assist management and project teams with administrative needs.

  • Construction, marine, marina, manufacturing, or related industry experience.
  • Experience supporting construction projects or field operations.
  • Experience working with vendors and suppliers.
  • Experience with purchasing, material ordering, and inventory tracking.
  • Experience calculating material quantities or assisting with project takeoffs.
  • Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience maintaining project documentation and tracking project costs or materials.
  • Familiarity with construction terminology, drawings, estimates, or project schedules is a plus.
