Overview

JA Counter, an Alera Group company, is looking for an Office Administrator. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team - joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

We are passionate about our clients’ success in Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.

Responsibilities
  • Create a positive and professional first impression for all office visitors and interactions.
  • Manage inbound communications (phone, email, in-person) with prompt and accurate responses.
  • Maintain office cleanliness, supplies, and troubleshoot office equipment as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to internal departments, including managing client files and mailings.
  • Handle office security protocols, conference room scheduling, and building maintenance coordination.
  • Perform mail duties, bank deposits, and calendar management for appointments and events.
  • Coordinate and manage sales educational events while serving as a backup for personal insurance and financial services inquiries.
Qualifications
  • Experience in office management, phone system coordination, and scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and administrative tools.
  • Ability to work independently while managing input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
