Job description

Description

Responsibilities include supporting human resources functions, such as administering employee health and welfare plans and acting as a liaison between employees on HR matters. Additionally, managing office services by ensuring organized operations, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, and reviewing supply requisitions.

  1. Provide comprehensive administrative support for the executive team and other Credit Union managers efficiently and promptly.
  2. Send memos via email and distribute meeting notifications.
  3. Assist and coordinate all Board and Committee meetings, including scheduling, notifying participants, preparing documents, mailing materials, attending meetings, and taking minutes.
  4. Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls, and other correspondence.
  5. Serve as the primary contact for vendor relationships related to office supplies, services, and equipment, including invoice verification with Accounts Payable.
  6. Process payroll and handle associated tasks.
  7. Conduct new hire orientations.
  8. Oversee annual open enrollment, address employee questions regarding plan changes and life event updates.
  9. Act as COBRA Administrator.
  10. Assist with daily HR tasks related to employee issues and concerns.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Previous administrative support experience.
  • Previous HR support experience.
  • Bank/credit union/finance experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
