Job Description

The Office Administrator is responsible for performing a variety of duties. This person will be tasked with sitting at the front desk of the Houston TX office to greet vendors and clients. The Office Administrator will receive all mail and deliver to the appropriate department in a timely manner and send out mail to various departments. This position requires that office supplies be kept current and ordered as needed.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Receive daily FED EX and UPS packages.
  • Regularly check and sort incoming USPS mail and distribute to correct departments including Sales, IT, Post Closing, Servicing, etc. in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with Funding on checks that are received in and forward checks to Funding and or Accounting.
  • Ordering Office Supplies such as paper, folders, coffee/creamer, and maintenance of such supplies, ensuring what is ordered is received in and we do not run out.
  • Mail out post-closing documents after closing.
  • Coordinating in-office meetings including ordering lunch or booking conference rooms.
  • Review files for endorsement confirmation and make sure the executed closing package is uploaded to ICE prior to shredding.
  • Assist with coverage for the Final Docs which includes sending boxes to designated custodians.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • Diligence, self-motivated, takes initiative.
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel and the ability to learn new software.
  • Meticulous individuals with good organizational ability, with excellent communication skills.
  • The position is in the office, reporting to our Houston, TX location.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Hours are 7:00am – 4:00pm Monday-Friday
