Honest Abe Roofing in Plymouth, MI, is seeking an Inside Sales & Office Coordinator to be the first voice customers hear and to convert leads into qualified appointments for our Roofing Advisors. You will own the job file from contract signing through final payment, supporting the project with administrative accuracy.

This role blends high-volume outreach with meticulous office administration. Expect to manage CRM data, process payments, file permits, and help drive a growing Michigan roofing

Inside Sales & Office Coordinator - Honest Abe Roofing

$20-$24/hr | Paid Weekly | Monday-Friday

Honest Abe Roofing is a professionally operated franchise launching in southeast Michigan, working primarily between Dexter and Farmington Hills. Based out of Plymouth, we are building a new local operation backed by the proven systems and standards of the Honest Abe network. The person who joins us now helps establish the level of quality and professionalism our market will come to expect from us. We put roofs over the heads of families and do so with the highest level of integrity.

The Role

You are the first voice a customer hears and the organizational backbone that keeps every job moving from signed contract to closed file. Your primary responsibility is converting leads into confirmed, qualified appointments for our Roofing Advisors. You will also serve as the administrative engine behind every project. You own the job file from the moment a contract is signed through final payment and file closure.

This role requires someone who leads with energy and phone confidence and backs it up with organizational precision. You thrive in a fast-moving environment, take full ownership of your work, and understand that speed and accuracy both matter.

What You'll Do

Inside Sales - Your Primary Focus:

• Hundreds of phone calls, texts, and emails every single day
• Ability to think on your feet and navigate difficult conversations
• Willingness to help market for new leads and perform cold calls
• Contact new leads immediately via call, text, and email - speed to contact is everything
• Set and confirm qualified appointments with clearly defined expectations, pre-qualifying homeowners through our financing vendors where applicable
• Conduct exit polls after every appointment and apply objection recovery techniques on unsold outcomes to reset the sale
• Keep management informed with accurate daily activity and results reports
• Any lead generation task needed by leadership

Office Administration - Your Secondary Focus:

• Own every job file from contract through closure - you are the job guru, ensuring every project moves through our pipeline accurately and on time
• Verify sales folders, create project folders, and advance jobs through each stage in our CRM - Approved, In-Progress, Invoiced, Closed
• Process all payments and log transactions accurately in our CRM
• File for building permits as required
• Send invoices, Certificates of Completion, and thank-you correspondence to customers at job close
• Calculate the Cost of Goods Sold for each job
• Calculate Commissions for each job
• Flag gross profit discrepancies to management
• Any office admin task needed by leadership

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years in inside sales, customer service, or office coordination - phone sales experience required
• Confident, professional phone presence - you are comfortable with high outbound call volume
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail - you will manage multiple open files simultaneously
• Proficient in CRM systems and Google Workspace - full training provided on our platform
• Comfortable handling payment processing and basic financial transactions
• Able to work independently and manage competing priorities without close supervision
• Experience in roofing, construction, or home services a plus - not required
