Job summary

Florida Power & Light Company is seeking an experienced Offensive Security Analyst with hands-on skills in red team operations and threat emulation to strengthen our cybersecurity program.

You will conduct persistent penetration testing across on‑premises and cloud environments (AWS/Azure), collaborate with Vulnerability Management and Threat Hunting teams, and help automate security tasks to improve detection and response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• CISA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Penetration Testing: Perform comprehensive tests on enterprise systems, including on-premises and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
• Red Team Operations: Emulate adversary tactics, develop custom tools for Windows, and provide post-exploitation reporting.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with Vulnerability Management and Threat Hunting teams; participate in purple team exercises.
• Automation & Tool Development: Automate security tasks and develop scripts to streamline processes.
• Detection Strategies: Develop kill-chain based detection and response approaches using manual and automated methods.
