Job summary

The State of North Carolina's Department of Adult Correction is seeking a Correctional Case Analyst (NS) at Craven Correctional Institution in Vanceboro, NC. This role analyzes legal, medical, and social data to develop offender treatment plans and make custody recommendations.

• Experience in testing or interviewing and/or counseling.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret legal commitments/documents, medical data, psychological data, criminal history, social history, and other information to develop effective treatment plans and housing/custody recommendations.
• Comprehend and abide by policy, SOPs, emergency plans, legal documents and directives governing daily activities.
• Perform routine supportive counseling and crisis intervention functions including suicide prevention per established procedures.
