Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking an X-ray Processor in Whitehall, MI to inspect castings using X-ray radiography. This off-shshift role will be based in Plant 3, Whitehall Casting Operation, and requires the ability to work 2nd or 3rd shifts and some weekend hours.

Responsibilities include processing castings per customer requirements and maintaining production schedules as a team member. Basic qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years manufacturing experience; visa

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of two years work experience; or six months continuous manufacturing experience.
Authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship not available.
Industrial manufacturing and/or quality control/nondestructive inspection preferred.
Previous experience with industrial radiography.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read and interpret specifications.
Must be able to work off-shift and overtime; weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

Process and inspect castings per customer requirements using X-ray techniques.
Work within assigned area as a team member to maintain production schedules; must be available for off-shift (2nd/3rd) and weekend crew.
