Job summary

RTP Company in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Process Technician to serve as the primary technical resource during off-shift operations, monitoring and improving the manufacturing process to sustain quality and throughput. You will provide hands-on support to production teams, troubleshoot process and equipment issues, analyze data, and drive Lean/5S improvements while upholding safety and teamwork across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production teams during off-shift operations.
• Troubleshoot process, equipment, and product quality issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitors critical process parameters and ensure compliance with established process standards.
• Lead process adjustments and optimization efforts to improve throughput, yield, and product consistency.
• Support start-ups, shutdowns, changeovers, and new product introductions.
• Investigate process deviations, scrap generation, and customer quality concerns.
• Work with Maintenance to diagnose and resolve equipment-related process issues.
• Support implementation and sustainment of Lean Manufacturing and 5S initatives.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate production priorities with Shift Supervisors and Operations leadership.
• Support achievement of plant KPIs including OEE, downtime, yield, throughput, and on-time delivery.
• Maintain safe work practices and promote compliance with all company safety.
• Other duties/responsibilities as assigned, or apparent.
