Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Graniteville, SC seeks a CNC (Numerical Control) Machine Operator for the off shift (Mon-Thu, 7:30pm–6:00am). You will operate HELLER CNC centers with Siemens 840 D controllers, read blueprints, and set up tooling to produce engine components.

Requirements include 2 years of machining schooling or 3 years in a heavy-duty shop, plus Siemens 840 D knowledge. A $3,000 sign-on bonus and relocation benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a mechanical, maintenance or machining trade school or equivalent Associate’s Degree
• Intermediate knowledge of CNC-controls (Siemens 840 D) and tools
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC HELLER machining centers per instructions and control plans
• Study routing, plans, and blueprints to determine specs and tooling requirements
• Select tools and materials for cubic engine components
• Set up and operate basic and advanced machining tools for precision operations
• Check and adjust measurement instruments per quality plans
