Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking an Off‑Road Haul Truck Driver to safely operate heavy trucks within our quarry and plant facilities. The role focuses on efficient material transport, adherence to safety regulations, and timely reporting of maintenance needs.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, basic truck maintenance checks, and collaboration with maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and compliant records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver''s license.
• Experience operating off-road trucks in a commercial setting.
• Ability to wear PPE and follow MSHA/OSHA safety rules.
• Proven experience operating off-road equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate off‑road haul trucks to transport material within Vulcan facilities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on the truck, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain records of materials hauled and dumps.
• Complete necessary paperwork and inspection records.
