The position emphasizes pre-trip inspections, basic maintenance checks, coordination with maintenance teams, and accurate record-keeping to ensure efficient material movement and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience operating off-road trucks in a quarry or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate off-road haul trucks to transport material within Vulcan facilities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on fluid levels, tire pressure and overall truck condition.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of materials hauled and dumps; complete necessary paperwork.
