Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking an Off-Road Haul Truck Driver to safely operate rigid frame and articulated haul trucks within quarry and plant environments. You will move crushed stone, sand, and gravel while adhering to safety and company rules.

Typical duties include pre-trip inspections, basic truck maintenance checks, and coordination with maintenance teams. A valid license and proven off-road experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience operating off-road trucks in a commercial setting.
• Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and basic truck maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate off-road haul trucks to transport material within Vulcan facilities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
• Maintain fluid levels and tire pressure; perform basic maintenance checks.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE per MSHA/OSHA.
• Maintain records of materials hauled and locations of dumps.
