Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Typically less than 2 years of experience operating off-road trucks in a commercial setting (entry to early-career).
• Maintain safety-conscious driving habits and efficient hauling practices.
• Follow MSHA/OSHA regulations and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Operate off-road haul trucks to transport material within Vulcan facilities.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and report maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Perform basic maintenance checks on fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall truck condition.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Washing of haul trucks as needed to facilitate thorough inspections.
