Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. seeks an Off-Duty Officer to maintain a secure environment for clients, including executive protection and on-site response to emergencies.

You will work with a cross-section of experienced personnel across divisions and may travel up to 50% of the time. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years in law enforcement, and active credentials such as POST and PILB armed endorsement, plus annual firearms requalification.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, secure environment for clients and visitors.

• Support investigation and surveillance tasks as needed.
• Offer executive protection and product escort when required.
• Coordinate with Operations, and be flexible for overtime and travel.

About the role:The Off-Duty Officer (ODO) provides a safe and secure environment for the client. The ODO focuses on specialized client management, with an emphasis on advanced planning, threat assessment, and problem-solving. Management can be implemented through one-on-one security protection, residential protection, and/or an elaborate tracking or monitoring system. The ODO team is selected from a cross-section of Federal, State, and local law enforcement to provide security services for Fortune 500 companies, entertainment industry executives, major special events, and any other venue requiring a secure presence.
