Security Industry Specialists, Inc. seeks an Off-Duty Officer to maintain a safe, secure environment for the client and manage advanced planning and threat assessment. The role involves on-site protection, client interaction, and flexible shifts across days of the week with up to 50% travel.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years LE experience, active credentials, and required state certifications. Company provides competitive hourly pay and benefits.

• POST certification
• Guard license or equivalent certification
• Domestic and/or international travel up to 50% of time may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment for the client and protect client assets.
• Observe for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergencies on-site.
• Conduct investigations and surveillance support; provide escort and executive protection.
• Support multiple divisions and adapt to varying security requirements.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

About the role:The Off-Duty Officer (ODO) provides a safe and secure environment for the client. The focus of the ODO is specialized client management with a focus on advanced planning, threat assessment, and problem-solving. Management can be implemented through one-on-one security protection, residential protection, and/or an elaborate tracking or monitoring system. The ODO team is chosen from a cross-section of Federal, State, and local law enforcement to provide security services ranging from Fortune 500 companies to entertainment industry executives, major special events, and any other type of venue requiring a secure presence.
