Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. seeks an Off-Duty Officer (ODO) to maintain a safe, secure environment for clients. You will perform executive protection, on-site security, surveillance support, and product escorts while upholding high standards of customer service.

Requirements include a bachelor’s or equivalent, 3+ years law enforcement, POST certification, active CCW, annual firearms training, and state guard certification. Travel up to 50% and shifts across days are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Three+ years of law enforcement experience.
• Active/retired law enforcement background.
• POST certification must be current.
• Active CCW and Exposed Firearms permits.
• Proof of annual firearms requalification or training required.
• Maintain state guard certification as prescribed by state law and client requirements.
• Must be a dependable team player with strong customer service.
• Travel up to 50% of time may be required.
• Flexibility to work all shifts Mon-Sun.

About the role:The Off-Duty Officer (ODO) provides a safe and secure environment for the client. The focus of the ODO is specialized client management with a focus on advanced planning, threat assessment, and problem-solving. Management can be implemented through one-on-one security protection, residential protection, and/or an elaborate tracking or monitoring system. The ODO team is chosen from a cross-section of Federal, State, and local law enforcement to provide security services ranging from Fortune 500 companies to entertainment industry executives, major special events, and any other type of venue requiring a secure presence.
