Pathward is seeking an OFAC Sanctions Screening Analyst II for a hybrid role based in the Phoenix area. You will escalate and resolve complex sanctions alerts, guiding junior staff and coordinating with senior management on true matches and required actions.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in OFAC compliance, banking experience, and strong analytical skills. The role includes potential incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, International Relations, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related field required.
• 3+ years of OFAC sanctions compliance or screening operations experience.
• CAMS or CGSS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary escalation point for complex OFAC screening alerts involving customers, transactions, and counterparties.
• Conduct advanced investigations requiring analysis of customer information, transactions, and ownership structures.
• Perform due diligence research using internal systems and public records to resolve ambiguous matches.
• Review and approve complex dispositions with proper justification and documentation.
