Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a talented Solution Engineer with deep knowledge in Service Solutions to provide OEM mission critical support to enterprise customers, internal teams and production. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background in computer systems and excellent communication skills to interface with management staff.

You will develop services for OEM customers, escalate complex issues, review contracts, and collaborate with global teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred.
2+ years of industry experience in related areas; leadership/managerial experience preferred.
Strong technical communication skills to lead investigations across disciplines.
Experience in enterprise server environments and ability to discuss customer-driven service solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop services product for OEM customers.
Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues and manage them professionally.
Review contracts for service performance obligations.
Provide quick response and support for production issues.
Provide Level 3 support to channel partners (resellers/distributors).
Maintain knowledge base of current and new products.
Collaborate with internal teams worldwide to resolve issues.
Travel up to 25%.
