Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Engineer – OEM (Americas) to drive OEM sales through strategic planning, technical engagement, and strong customer relationships across the Americas. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in mechanical engineering, business admin, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of sales experience in engineered processes or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• Experience selling to processing industries and direct sales of process equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, strategize, and execute the OEM sales plan to meet AOP targets.
• Provide product, application, service, and technical information to customers.
• Develop target accounts, conduct technical demos/presentations, create quotes and proposals.
• Determine and execute closing strategies per order/customer.
• Travel as required to meet OEM customer needs and drive growth.
