Job summary

Karman is seeking an Application Engineer, Hardware/Firmware to bridge customers’ hardware environments with our platform. You will work across Hardware, Firmware, and Product teams to design, validate, and productionize integrations, including SOMs and metrology bring-up.

You’ll own end-to-end execution, lead customer calls, and shape how we scale the Application Engineering function in a fast-paced, high-ownership setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in EE/CS or related field.
• 6+ years hands-on hardware and embedded firmware experience.
• Demonstrated end-to-end hardware integration from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement hardware integration layers with customer infra.
• Write and modify embedded firmware for customer platforms.
• Lead end-to-end technical execution from kickoff to deployment.
• Create and maintain integration artifacts and design reviews.
