Job summary

Elite Worldwide, Inc. seeks an experienced Automotive & Diesel Technical Instructor to lead national training programs in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area. You will plan, organize, and deliver OEM technical instruction, combining classroom and hands-on activities for apprentice to experienced technicians.

This role supports apprenticeship tracks, certifications, and veteran transitions into civilian careers. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in automotive or diesel tech and a proven ability to

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of automotive and/or diesel vehicle systems, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong understanding of OEM training requirements and instructional methodologies.
• Ability to deliver technical instruction in classroom and hands-on environments.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and electronic service information systems.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom-based and hands-on automotive and diesel training.
• Instruct technicians in diagnostics, troubleshooting, electrical, powertrain, and maintenance procedures.
• Deliver OEM curricula per instructional standards.
• Demonstrate use of diagnostic equipment and service information systems.
• Assess student knowledge via exams and hands-on assessments.
• Provide coaching and professional development guidance.
• Maintain training materials, lesson plans, and presentations.
