Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a manufacturing operator to run automated equipment on a high‑volume line. You will monitor machines, apply gauges, and maintain quality and safety standards on a dynamic production floor in Roanoke, VA.

This role requires attentiveness to detail and strong teamwork to keep production on schedule. Responsibilities include 5S housekeeping, defect logging, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while following GMP, HACCP, and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrable mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate multiple machines.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
• Computer literacy and basic math for interpreting technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple machines and robotic systems to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Maintain a safe, audit-ready work area with 5S and regular checks.
• Inspect output, document defects, and update the quality database.
• Support CI initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Write/refine SOPs and perform routine maintenance and trial runs.
