Amarillo Gear Company LLC is seeking an OD/ID Grinder in Amarillo, TX. You will operate grinding equipment to produce parts per drawings, perform setups and inspections, and maintain quality and schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with machining certificate preferred or demonstrated OD/ID grinding experience.
• Experience with precision grinding processes is preferred.
• Must read blueprints and apply GD&T to set up and inspect parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate OD and ID grinding machines per drawings and procedures.
• Install and true workholding devices, wheels, fixtures, and tooling for runs.
• Select, mount, balance, and dress grinding wheels based on material and specs.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections with precision instruments.
• Record production and inspection results and maintain safety and 5S standards.
