Job summary

City of Brownsville seeks an OD&HR Operations Manager to oversee departmental operations, ensure data accuracy, and drive process improvements across HR programs. You will work with leadership to align initiatives, monitor performance, and mentor staff to deliver high-quality service.

The role requires 4–6 years in HR operations, strong data skills, and the ability to develop SOPs and dashboards that inform management decisions. This position is based with OD&HR and reports to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Admin, Public Admin or related field.
• 4–6 years in HR operations, analytics, or business operations with process improvement experience.
• SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus; municipal/public-sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes, systems, reporting, and admin functions for OD&HR.
• Develop dashboards and reports tracking KPIs like cycle times and case volumes.
• Coordinate PIP tracking, performance cycles, and HR compliance activities.
