Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a skilled Machinist - Level 3 (OD Grinder) for our on-site manufacturing facility in the United States. You will operate and maintain OD grinding machines to produce precision cylindrical parts and interpret engineering drawings to ensure tolerances and finishes meet strict specifications.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor and offers first shift hours (6:00am–2:30pm).

Qualifications

• 5+ years operating OD grinding machines in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years knowledge of grinding techniques, machine setup, and maintenance.
• 5+ years reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain OD grinding machines to produce precision cylindrical parts according to specifications.
• Set up grinding machines, including selecting and dressing grinding wheels, and adjusting machine controls.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface finish, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Collaborate with quality control and production teams to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Relocation support may be available.
