Job summary

Michigan Neurology Associates is seeking a skilled OCT / Visual Field / VEP Technician for a part-time/PRN role in Clinton Township, MI. You will perform ophthalmic imaging and neuro-ophthalmic testing, including OCT, automated visual field testing, and VEP studies, supporting accurate results and patient comfort.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ophthalmic equipment, familiarity with EMR workflows, and a commitment to high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as listed; ophthalmic/diagnostic training preferred.
• Experience with OCT and visual field testing is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and patient-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality OCT scans following protocols.
• Conduct automated perimetry/visual field testing and verify reliability indices.
• Set up and perform VEP studies with proper electrode placement and checks.
• Prepare patients, document results in EMR, and ensure safety.
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain testing equipment; report malfunctions.
• Collaborate with clinicians to support clinic flow and interpretation.
