AECOM is seeking a Project Engineer, Overhead Contact System (OCS) for our Sacramento, Fresno, or Bakersfield offices. This on-site role provides engineering leadership for 25kV AC railway electrification systems on a major transportation project, covering catenary, contact and messenger wires, and related systems.
Reporting to the Project Manager, OCS, you will review designs, wiring plans, and testing procedures, coordinate with traction power, SCADA, and trackwork, and support installation,
Qualificações
- BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency
Responsabilidades
- Develop and review OCS deliverables, construction packages, specifications and submissions
- Lead review of designs, wiring plans and electrification studies
- Review catenary layouts, grounding and bonding requirements
- Coordinate interfaces between OCS and traction power, trackwork, structures, signaling, and rolling stock
- Provide engineering support during installation, testing, commissioning and energization
- Review testing procedures and energization programs
- Participate in testing activities and review test results for system acceptance
