Job summary

Modern Railway Systems is seeking an experienced OCS professional responsible for the engineering, design development, construction support, estimating and commissioning of OCS and Traction Power Feeder Systems associated with light rail vehicles, streetcars and high-speed rail.

Education requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation and structural analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed engineering shop drawings for AC and DC OCS systems.
• Develop operations and maintenance manuals and training materials.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and vendor inquiries for estimating support.
• Provide site engineering support, troubleshoot installations, and conduct testing/commissioning.
• Coordinate with track, signal and power substation engineers for system integration and testing.
