IDR is seeking an OCR Engineer to design, develop, and optimize OCR and intelligent document processing solutions for large-scale, regulated environments. You will enhance extraction accuracy, improve document quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on next-generation document automation projects.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on OCR experience, strong Python skills, and familiarity with tools like Tesseract, PaddleOCR, and Google Document AI.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building or supporting production-grade OCR/document processing solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python for developing document processing workflows.
• Hands-on experience with OCR tools and platforms such as Tesseract, PaddleOCR, Google Document AI, or similar systems.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain OCR and intelligent document processing workflows for diverse document types and templates.
• Build and enhance document extraction pipelines for scanned documents, mobile photos, PDFs, and other inputs.
• Implement image preprocessing techniques (deskewing, denoising, contrast enhancement) to maximize OCR accuracy.
• Create and automate image quality assessments to enable decision workflows (process/resubmit/manual review).
• Establish and monitor confidence scoring and accuracy metrics; conduct regression testing for stable extraction.
