Job summary
Safety Management Group is seeking an HSE Advisor with OCIP experience to lead CHSEMP activities in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. The role requires strong root-cause analysis, claims management, and field reporting to ensure OSHA and state regulatory conformance.
Benefits include premium pay after 40 billable hours weekly and annual merit reviews. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety and at least 7 years of related experience, with professional certification
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety is required.
- Minimum 7 years of related work experience.
- Professional Certification is desired or willingness to obtain it.
- Ability to interpret codes, standards, regulations, and laws.
- Experience with industrial hygiene applications and contractor HSE Advisor management.
Responsibilities
- Lead CHSEMP program aspects and field investigations.
- Administer contractor claims management and documentation.
- Perform and document field observations and trend analysis.
- Facilitate HSE meetings and communicate requirements to contractors.
- Ensure conformance to CHSEMP processes and OSHA/state regulations.
