Safety Management Group, LLC is seeking an experienced HSE Advisor with OCIP experience to lead Contractor Health, Safety and Environmental programs on projects in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. The role emphasizes incident investigations, root cause analysis, field observations, and ensuring CHSEMP conformance and continuous safety improvements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, 7+ years in related work, and knowledge of OSHA and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety from a four-year college or university.
• 7+ years of related work experience.
• Professional Certification is desired; willingness to obtain it if not held.
• Ability to interpret codes, standards, regulations and regulatory documents.
• Experience with industrial hygiene and OCIP program management.

Responsibilities

• Lead CHSEMP program activities and fieldwork on projects.
• Perform event investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Administer claims management for contractor events.
• Complete weekly field observation reports and document findings.
• Translate observations into trend analyses and summaries.
• Lead HSE meetings and communicate requirements to contractors.
