Job summary

Commonfund, an investment management firm serving nonprofits, seeks an Associate in OCIO to support client portfolios and senior team members. Based in New York City or Norwalk, CT, you will assist with asset allocation modeling, portfolio construction, rebalancing, reporting, and risk management.

You will work cross-functionally to deliver high-quality responses, help design AI-assisted workflows, prepare presentations, and develop knowledge of Commonfund's investment strategies to support

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in investment or asset management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient with spreadsheet/database software.
• Proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with APIs and large language models for workflow design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quantitative and analytical support to OCIOs for client portfolios.
• Undertake portfolio evaluation and analysis of client accounts.
• Help design AI-assisted workflows to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Respond to client inquiries and analytic requests in a timely, accurate manner.
• Support month-end portfolio review, rebalancing, and cash flow analysis.
• Generate asset allocation recommendations using portfolio modeling tools.
• Create and update client presentation materials.
• Collaborate with technology and data teams to build scalable AI solutions.
