Glocap Search is engaged on an Experienced Associate, Marketables/Publics Manager Research role in New York. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment research, manager selection, or due diligence, ideally within an OCIO, endowment, foundation, RIA investment team, family office, or fund-of-funds.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including evaluating investment managers, analyzing performance and risk, and synthesizing complex investment information into actionable insights.
• Experience conducting investment manager due diligence and ongoing monitoring across public market asset classes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative due diligence on investment managers across global equities, hedge funds, liquid credit, fixed income, and passive investment strategies.
• Attend manager meetings, take notes, and maintain ongoing manager monitoring programs, including quarterly reviews, manager meetings, performance updates, and market intelligence gathering.
• Prepare due diligence reports, manager reviews, investment recommendation memoranda, and supporting materials for senior investment professionals and investment committees.
• Perform portfolio analytics, manager comparisons, and investment research to support portfolio construction and asset allocation decisions.
• Support client-specific investment requests, including portfolio reviews, performance analysis, manager evaluations, and assessments of legacy holdings.

POSITION: Experienced Associate, Marketables/Publics Manager Research

This is an opportunity to get in at the ground floor of a new best-in-class OCIO/wealth platform representing best-in-class business-owning families. This new team is being built within a large, successful investment advisor/fund manager.

Our client is building a next-generation OCIO/wealth platform designed to serve multi-billion-dollar families through a highly customized, open-architecture investment approach that leverages the firm’s integrated ecosystem and existing client-base. The platform provides comprehensive asset allocation, portfolio construction, and manager selection capabilities across public and private markets, including global equities, hedge funds, fixed income, private credit, private real assets, and private equity, with an emphasis on long-term partnerships, alignment, and differentiated access. The team has a flexible mandate, and invests across third-party funds, secondaries, and co-investments.

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative due diligence on investment managers across global equities, hedge funds, liquid credit, fixed income, and passive investment strategies.
• Attend manager meetings, take notes, and maintain ongoing manager monitoring programs, including quarterly reviews, manager meetings, performance updates, and market intelligence gathering.

• Leverage AI and emerging technologies appropriately to enhance research workflows, improve efficiency, and strengthen analytical insights while maintaining rigorous investment standards and independent judgment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment research, manager selection, or due diligence, ideally within an OCIO, endowment, foundation, RIA investment team, family office, or fund-of-funds.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate investment managers, analyze performance and risk, and synthesize complex investment information into actionable insights.
