Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced OCI Security Consultant to design, implement, and operate security controls across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and hybrid environments. This 100% remote US role requires deep OCI security expertise and the ability to translate complex requirements into secure architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of cloud security experience with strong OCI hands-on work.
• Deep experience with OCI Identity, IAM policies, and federation.
• Experience with OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault and Data Safe.
• Knowledge of CIS benchmarks and cloud-native security frameworks.
• Strong scripting (Python, Bash) and Terraform abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise security architectures for OCI tenancies and guardrails.
• Configure OCI Identity Domains, federation, and RBAC strategies.
• Implement key management and data protection using OCI Vault and Data Safe.
• Harden OCI workloads using CIS benchmarks and security zones.
• Operate OCI Cloud Guard for detection, response, and remediation.
• Lead vulnerability management, patching, and remediation tracking.
• Drive regulatory compliance (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP).
• Develop security automation tooling with Python, Terraform, OCI CLI/SDK.
• Document architectures, runbooks, and onboarding procedures.
