Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Engineer - Oracle to design, implement, and operate robust security controls across OCI, Oracle Cloud Applications, and hybrid environments. The role is 100% remote within the United States and requires strong OCI expertise.

You will lead security architecture, identity management, key management, and vulnerability programs while aligning with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cloud security experience with hands-on OCI.
• Deep experience with OCI Identity, IAM policies, and federation.
• Hands-on with OCI Cloud Guard, Security Zones, Vault, and Data Safe.
• Familiarity with CIS benchmarks and cloud-native security frameworks.
• Scripting in Python or Bash and Terraform.
• Experience integrating workloads with SIEM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement OCI-based security architectures and guardrails.
• Configure OCI Identity Domains and identity federation with IdPs.
• Manage OCI Vault for key management and secret rotation.
• Harden compute, networking, and databases using CIS benchmarks.
• Operate OCI Cloud Guard for detection and response.
• Integrate OCI logs and audits with SIEM platforms.
• Apply data security controls with OCI Data Safe.
• Lead vulnerability management and patching programs.
• Drive PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP compliance.
• Mentor teams on security best practices.
