Job summary

ITC Federal, Inc. seeks an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer to design, deploy, and secure OCI environments for the Department of State. The hybrid Washington, DC role features three days onsite and two remote days per week, with an active Interim Secret clearance and eligibility for Top Secret upgrade.

You will own tenancy design, VCNs, IAM policies, and IaC patterns using Terraform and Ansible, while ensuring security, compliance, and enterprise reliability across the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a cloud engineer.
• 2+ years of hands-on OCI experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with cloud security, compliance, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with OCI (Compute/Storage/IAM/Networking/Database).
• Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Architecture, deployment, and management of OCI services across compute, networking, storage, and database.
• Design end-to-end OCI VCNs, subnets, route tables, gateways, and security configurations.
• Develop and maintain IaC with Terraform and Ansible; use OCI Resource Manager as needed.
• Maintain security controls in alignment with NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP; manage Vault, Bastion, Cloud Guard, and Security Zones.
• Monitor performance, optimize costs, ensure high availability, and troubleshoot OCI issues (enterprise scale).
• Run container workloads with OCI and Docker; manage cluster upgrades and networking.
