Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC is seeking an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer to design, deploy, and secure enterprise OCI environments for federal clients from the Department of State. You will own tenancy, compartments, VCNs, and IaC patterns using Terraform and Ansible, while supporting security, compliance, and modernization efforts at scale.

The role requires 5+ years in cloud engineering with hands-on OCI experience, along with strong security and DevOps skills.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a cloud engineer with hands-on OCI experience.
Strong knowledge of OCI compute, storage, IAM, networking and database services.
Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible for IaC.
Experience with cloud security, compliance, and monitoring in regulated environments.
Familiarity with Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE) and Docker.
Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent hands-on experience.
Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC three days per week.

Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, and manage OCI services across compute, networking, storage, and database.
Design VCNs, tenancy and compartments, IAM policies, and related patterns.
Develop and maintain IaC with Terraform and Ansible; manage OCI Resource Manager.
Implement security controls per NIST/FISMA/FedRAMP; support accreditation and monitoring.
Monitor performance, optimize costs, and ensure high availability.
Run and support containers with OKE and Docker; manage cluster upgrades and networks.
Maintain clear documentation of architectures and processes.
