Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC is seeking an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer in Washington, DC. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and securing enterprise OCI environments across compute, networking, storage, and database, with tenancy and compartment design, and IaC patterns.

You will build OCI architectures, manage VCNs, and enforce least-privilege IAM, while collaborating on migrations and modernization with security and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a cloud engineer, including 2+ years hands-on OCI experience.
• Strong working knowledge of OCI compute, storage, IAM, networking and database services.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with cloud security, compliance, and monitoring in a regulated environment.
• Familiarity with Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE) and Docker.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Washington, DC three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy OCI services across compute, networking, storage, and database.
• Design VCNs end-to-end with subnets, route tables, gateways, and security configurations.
• Define tenancy and compartment models with IAM policies and least-privilege boundaries.
• Support migrations and modernization while keeping legacy systems running.
• Develop and maintain Terraform and Ansible code and reusable modules.
• Prevent configuration drift by aligning deployed infrastructure with code repositories.
• Implement cloud security per federal frameworks (NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP).
• Monitor performance, optimize costs, and ensure high availability across OCI environments.
• Run container workloads using OCI Container Engine for Kubernetes and Docker.
