Job summary

Elevate Technology Solutions seeks an experienced OCI Cloud Architect/Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to support the Air Force Cloud One architecture. You will design and implement secure OCI solutions, automate provisioning with Terraform/Ansible, and lead automation efforts while collaborating with engineering, cybersecurity, and government stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 6+ years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• DoD IAT II certification and at least one cloud certification within six months of hire.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting OCI environments.
• Strong knowledge of OCI networking components (VCNs, subnets, NATs, compute, load balancers, NSGs).
• Advanced Python and Bash scripting skills for automation.
• Experience using OCI REST APIs, SDKs, and CLI tools to automate operations.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for IaC.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and cloud engineering docs.
• Solid cybersecurity and secure architecture understanding.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable OCI architectures for enterprise cloud operations.
• Configure OCI services: VCNs, subnets, NAT gateways, compute, load balancers, NSGs.
• Develop IaC to automate provisioning, configuration, and management.
• Integrate OCI with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud, performance, and deployment issues.
• Apply DoD cybersecurity standards across lifecycle.
• Develop automation in Python and Bash for production use.
• Build automation with OCI REST APIs, SDKs, and CLI tools.
• Create reusable automation for provisioning, monitoring, and ops.
