Job summary

Systems Engineering Solutions Corporation seeks an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support USAF Cloud One Architecture under the Cloud and Shared Services contract. The role focuses on OCI engineering and coordinating across AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle clouds to modernize a global multi-cloud environment for resiliency, security, and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• US citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience administering Windows and Linux servers.
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML.
• Experience with OCI, Jira, Confluence, Git, and multiple OCI cloud SaaS offerings.
• Experience onboarding customer log-data from cloud platforms to on-premises or cloud-based analysis environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions across OCI and other clouds.
• Develop cloud strategy and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and assess their impact on objectives.
• Drive adoption of DevOps practices, IaC, and automation frameworks.
• Optimize application performance and reliability in cloud environments.
• Design secure cloud architectures with zero-trust and defense-in-depth.
• Ensure compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and other standards.
• Implement IAM solutions and security monitoring frameworks.
• Facilitate onboarding and standardize cloud adoption pathways.
• Manage and optimize Oracle Cloud environments, networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, and SQL systems.
• Containerize applications to improve scalability and deployment efficiency.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation for development and operations.
• Conduct security assessments and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate across development, operations, security, and product teams.
• Create reference architectures and design patterns for cloud implementations.
