Job summary

Timbers Kaua‘i is seeking a courteous and experienced Food & Beverage service professional to deliver outstanding hospitality to guests at our oceanfront property on Kaua‘i. Under the supervision of the F&B Manager, you will greet guests, present menus, and ensure smooth service from kitchen to table in a fast-paced resort setting.

The role requires a minimum of six months in food and beverage, strong customer service skills, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of food and beverage experience.
• Prior experience in customer service.
• Correct use of business English language.
• Customer service principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
• Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
• Carves meat, bones fish and fowl, and prepares flaming dishes and desserts at patron’s table.
• Place and process food and beverage orders utilizing the restaurant’s POS system.
• Perform other duties as appropriate and directed by supervisor/manager.
