Job summary

The Sunny Hotel, part of the Davidson Hospitality Group, is seeking a motivated Steward to help maintain a clean and efficient kitchen in a dynamic oceangoing environment. You will support the culinary team by washing dishes, preparing basic items, and ensuring sanitary conditions throughout the kitchen.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Steward or similar preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand for long periods.
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to support the culinary team.
• Keep kitchen and dishwashing area clean and organized.
• Assist with food prep and plating as needed.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food and supplies.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with team to maintain smooth workflow.
• Maintain a positive, energetic attitude in a fast-paced environment.
