Job summary

Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort is seeking a dependable, energetic Houseperson to support the Housekeeping team on Hilton Head Island. You will help maintain cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring Room Attendants have supplies and support to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a commitment to excellent guest service.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team.
• Strong attention to detail and good time-management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Previous housekeeping, hotel, or related experience is helpful, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked housekeeping closets, linen rooms, and service areas.
• Deliver clean linens, towels, guest supplies, and amenities to Room Attendants and designated areas.
• Collect and transport soiled linens, trash, and recycling in accordance with resort procedures.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining guest corridors, elevators, stairwells, and other assigned public or back-of-house areas.
• Respond promptly to guest and Housekeeping requests for additional supplies or assistance.
• Assist with moving furniture, rollaway beds, cribs, and other approved guest-room items as needed.
• Support Room Attendants with assigned tasks to help ensure guest rooms are ready on time.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items according to resort procedures.
• Follow proper chemical handling, equipment operation, and workplace safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping leadership and fellow associates to maintain Omni's standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
